It only takes about 40 minutes to drive from Sant Lluis to the north coast, making car hire a fantastic idea, although its best to pre-book a car with us at the time of booking your villa due to limitations placed on the number of cars allowed on the island. Once you have your car, some fantastic places to visit include Arenal d'en Castell, the second longest beach on the island, Cala Macarella, a stunning beach within a hidden cove and the historic city of Ciutadella, perfect for exploring beautiful buildings and markets by day and dining in its wonderful restaurants at night that have rave reviews. There is also a fantastic golf course located on the north of the island that offers picturesque views of the tranquil Menorcan countryside.
