If you are considering a villa holiday in Spain, the island of Menorca is an ideal destination to visit. Known for its stunning landscapes, clear turquoise waters, and quiet sandy beaches, the island offers a range of holiday accommodation, including Menorca rental villas. With a private villa rental in Menorca, or Minorca as it is also known, you can enjoy a peaceful and private holiday in Spain while exploring the island's natural beauty and rich cultural history.
Menorca is a Spanish island located in the Balearic Islands, which are an archipelago in the western Mediterranean Sea. It is the hidden gem of the Balearic Islands as the more laidback island over Mallorca and Ibiza. This wonderful Spanish island is known for its natural beauty, stunning Mediterranean beaches, charming towns, and an abundance of archaeological sites.
Falling in between the north and south, Es Migjorn Gran is a charming town located in the central region of the island, known for its narrow streets, traditional architecture and beautiful Menorcan beaches. A villa rental in Es Migjorn Gran is a popular choice for families and couples looking for a relaxing and peaceful vacation. Just a few minutes away Alaior is another picturesque town located in the centre of Menorca. It is known for its historic landmarks, traditional markets, and delicious local cuisine. A villa rental in Alaior is a great option for travellers who want to experience the authentic side of Menorca.
Those who choose to rent a villa in central Menorca are ideally situated to visit Es Mercadal in the heart of Menorca at the base of its highest point, Monte Toro. Es Mercadal is a must-visit town and undoubtedly one of the most beautiful towns in Menorca, thanks to its preservation of traditional architecture, essence of Menorca island life and serene atmosphere.
If you are looking for a Menorca rental villa that offers easy access to the island's main attractions, you can consider staying in the historic cities of Ciutadella or Mahón. Ciutadella is located on the west coast of Menorca and is a city known for its narrow streets, historic buildings, and bustling port. Mahón, on the other hand, is located on the east coast and is known for its lively atmosphere, restaurants and museums, the perfect place to explore by day or dine by night.
Being located in the centre of the island also means you’ll be ideally located to explore the north and south of the island. It only takes around 30 or 40 minutes or so to drive from the southern coast to the northern coast of the island of Menorca, making car hire a fantastic idea, although its best to prebook a car with us at the time of booking your villa due to limitations placed on the number of cars allowed on the island. Once you have your car and a map of Menorca, you’ll be free to roam the island, visiting popular spots like Binibeca Vell and Es Castell in the south or Fornells and Cala Morell to the north.

We have a number of luxury villas for rent in Menorca’s central region, and whether you are just a couple or a big family group requiring a large capacity villa with plenty of rooms, we have Spain rental options located in this area of the island to suit every group to ensure a relaxing holiday in the Balearic Islands.
Our Menorca rentals provide everything you could need for a comfortable holiday, from beautifully furnished bedrooms, a master suite with large terrace and in most cases, multiple bathrooms, fully equipped kitchens and a spacious lounge or living room. Many have retained their authentic Menorcan details while our modern contemporary properties boast luxurious features from a balcony that offers a magnificent sea view to large sliding glass doors to create a seamless blend of indoor and outdoor space. Many of our villas have air conditioning and fans to keep rooms cool as well as facilities like the internet and smart TVs.
Villas are always preferable to apartments or hotels as they also provide the substantial outdoor space that are essential for a relaxing vacation in Spain, many offering a private pool, shady garden and numerous terraces. Having outdoor space means you can enjoy al fresco dining on your villa terrace and many of our villas also come with additional outdoor kitchen or barbecue facility, which is rare when renting an appartment. A lot of our Spain rental accommodation also has private parking.
From a casa blanca - a traditional white washed Menorcan house, located near Cala Pregonda full of charming details for one or two weeks, a popular family villa with a large pool located between Es Migjorn Gran and the beaches of Santo Tomàs and Son Bou, to an impressive and luxurious private house that sleeps sixteen in Alaior, we have Menorca villas in the central part of the island to suit everyone, all with exceptional reviews from our past clients.
Our bilingual team is always on hand to provide more information to ensure you have the perfect stay on the idyllic island of Menorca, from details about our villas and their price, a map of Menorca, to information about taking pets on to the island, as experts on Menorca we’re here to answer any questions you may have.
